On wednesday afternoon, you will have the choice between three activities:
HIKING IN THE PYRENEES
This hiking on lower Pyrénées mountains offers beautifull views on Vallée d’Ossau and lovely villages. Accessible to every kind of public, this hiking requires walking shoes.
HIKING IN THE JURANCON VINEYARD
Walking through Jurançon vineyard pastoral landscapes, soil of gastronomy and conviviality. Alternation of vine, hoods, roundabout ways and beautiful traditional farms are in total harmony.
Accessible to every kind of public, this hiking requires comfortable shoes.
RAFTING ON GAVE DE PAU
Bearn is “gaves” area, local name for powerful rivers climbing down Pyrénées mountains. Equipment provided on site. Bring a towel and a swinsuit.
At the end of the afternoon all the three groups will meet in the Jurancon vineyard for a wine-tasting session.
Banquet
Banquet at the pelota stadium on thursday evening: In a magnificent pelota stadium, unique in Europe, exhibition by champions and initiation for participants. The game will be followed by an “aperitif” and a gastronomic dinner prepared by a famous cook. During the evening, the atmosphere will be assumed by a local choir.
